The Morning Cloud Chitalpa is a hybrid small tree developed by crossing the Catalpa and Desert Willow. It combines the toughness of desert willow with the showy flowers of catalpa. The Morning Cloud tree produces abundant clusters of large, trumpet shaped, pure white flowers with light yellow throats from late spring through summer. It has narrow, willow-like green leaves and forms a rounded canopy
